LA QUINTA, Calif. – Texas freshmen Lina Padegimaite and Noel Scott notched another victory to reach the semifinals in the main doubles draw Saturday on day two of the National Collegiate Tennis Classic.

Padegimaite and Scott posted an 8-5 win over UC Irvine’s Franziska Goettsching and Kristina Smith to reach Sunday’s doubles semifinals, where they will meet Stanford’s Veronica Li and Ellen Tsay.

UT freshman Annat Rabinovich will meet UT sophomore Cierra Gaytan-Leach Sunday in the finals of the consolation singles draw.  Rabinovich defeated USC’s Alison Ramos in the consolation semifinals, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-7), while Gaytan-Leach registered a 6-4, 6-4 win over Virginia’s Ema Burgic.
