Camp General Info -  Warhawk Tennis Camp

Camp Objectives
The Warhawk tennis camp is one of the top tennis camps in the Midwest.  It is intended for tennis players from 12-18 in age, getting ready for their high school season.  We cater to all players from intermediate to ranked tournament players.  Mental toughness is what is stressed throughout the week.  We spend the majority of the first 4 days drilling mechanics and stressing doubles and singles strategies.  We then follow that up with team match play that is benificial to all players about to take on the challenges of their next high school season.

Curriculum

A typical day includes six to eight hours of on-court instruction followed by night activities including tournament play and a Thursday night talent show.  We will stress the mental toughness skills needed to succeed in tournaments and at the high school level. No students will be forced to play beyond their limits or go home feeling that they have not played enough tennis.

6:00 Reconvene at bleachers for night activities

We also offer video analysis for each camper.

Housing

Roommate requests are encouraged, but not necessary. If a roommate is not requested, we will assign one of approximately the same age. The dorm is configured with double rooms. Campers are grouped by age on the hall.

Early Arrivals/Late Departures

Univ. of Wisconsin, Whitewater Tennis Camp does not have the facilities or personnel to accommodate campers who arrive the day before or who leave the day after the designated dates of their camp.

Key Deposit

Charges will be assessed for lost keys.
