Yana Tikhonko and Inge LeGrange registered singles and doubles victories in helping to lead Marist to a 5-2 victory over UAlbany in non-conference action on Tuesday, March 29 in the UAlbany Bubble.
Tikhonko and LeGrange picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles for the Red Foxes, who won four of the singles matches. UAlbany’s Amanda Hall posted a 6-3, 7-6 decision over Erin Godly at the fourth singles position. Kim Westcott added a 6-2, 6-2 victory for the Great Danes (5-8).
In doubles, Courtney Michels and Aimee Kern paired for an 8-6 showing at the top spot. The Red Foxes captured matches two and three to secure the doubles point.
