Andrew Green is in his fifth year as assistant sports information director at Colorado, joining the department in October 2001. He is the sports information director for men’s basketball and men’s and women’s tennis. Green, 38, came to Boulder from The College of William and Mary, where he worked three years and served as the Tribe’s primary contact for women’s basketball, soccer, and volleyball.

Green graduated from Ashland (Ohio) University in 1996 with a B.S. degree in Sports Communications. He was a graduate student assistant in the sports information office at California University of Pennsylvania where he was the media liaison for the 1997 national champion softball team. Born Jan. 31, 1968 in Batavia, N.Y., Green graduated from LeRoy (N.Y.) High, where he lettered in basketball and tennis. Green is married CU’s athletic travel coordinator the former Jennifer Anderson.
