Welcome to CollegeTennisOnline 2009-2010!  A new season has come upon us and we at CollegeTennisOnline.com are super excited to work with our coaches, players, and fans to continue being the premier destination for the college tennis community.  Last year, thanks to your support, we had over 1.3 million visitors and 13 million pageviews - we hope to continue growing this season and are planning to release the following new features for your enjoyment:

Live Scores
This is one of our favorite new features under development.  We are building an iPhone application that will allow coaches and players to enter in live scores during a match.  This will allow CollegeTennisOnline fans to keep up with a match in real-time!

Social Networking
We will continue to be improving our social networking features like making it easier to find friends, improving the general usability, and integration with facebook so you can automatically download your profile from facebook.

We want CollegeTennisOnline to be the "Facebook of College Tennis."  A Social Network dedicated to college tennis where you can feel free to share all your tennis thoughts, achievements, goals, and dreams to other people who care!  We're excited to make CollegeTennisOnline a place where alumni, players, fans, and coaches can all interact and help grow the tennis community.

Player Access to Coach Admin Sections
This feature will allow coaches to allow other CollegeTennisOnline users to have access the the team administration pages.  This will allow trusted players and fans to update the team page, upload photos, and write news articles, taking the burden from an already too busy coach.

Calendar
This will allow teams to post up an internal (or public) calendar with team events, practice schedule, and matches so they can track everything easily and in one place.

New CollegeTennisOnline.com Rankings
Yes!  Finally, a ranking system that makes sense and works the way it should!  We will be creating a new computerized ranking system based on a new and improved algorithm.  We are currently recruiting Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA to be on our Coach's Advisory Board to help with the initial poll rankings and give us advice on how we can help college tennis the way they see best!  More on this in an upcoming article.

Team Forums
We'll be creating forums for each team so coaches, players, alumni, and fans can congregate, have a virtual tailgate before matches and talk amongst themselves!

Improved Galleries
Finally, yes, we know are gallery is a bit old and outdated.  We'll be revamping our gallery using the latest new Silverlight technologies, and partnering with a photo printing company so you can upload high resolution photos and have the prints sent directly to you!
