BERKELEY - CalBears.com had a chance to speak with Tayler Davis a senior on the Golden Bears women's tennis team. Davis spoke about the recently completed fall season, life as a senior and about the team chemistry on the 2012-13 squad.
CalBears.com: You had some great results this fall, especially at the Stanford Regional. How do you think you played overall this fall?
Tayler Davis: "I definitely feel like I have to have my best tennis at Stanford, so I'm happy that it's improving. I would have liked to play better on the first couple tournaments, but I'm happy with the improvement."
CalBears.com: What do you like to do on your free time when you're not playing tennis?
TD: "I like to shop, and hang out with my teammates."
CalBears.com: You have a new team this year with three new freshmen and a transfer. What do you think of the team chemistry this year compared to last year?
TD: "I think we're all very close, and this year with six of us living together, basically it's been fun and were able to get a lot closer to the girls."
CalBears.com: How is your experience so far as a senior at Cal?
TD: "It's going by fast, but it's been fun, and I'm really just trying to enjoy every moment of it."
CalBears.com: What do you plan on doing after you graduate?
TD: "I plan on playing a little bit and probably go to law school."
