HONOLULU - Seventh-ranked California completed an almost perfect run in the Weinman Foundation Invitational on Monday night, winning all 12 of its matches on the last day of the event at the UH Tennis Complex. After heavy rains delayed the start of the action close to four hours, the Golden Bears won all eight of their singles matches and all four of their doubles matches.

Cal dropped just two sets all day and was just as dominant in singles as it was on the first two days of the three-day event. In all, the Bears produced a 25-0 singles record at the invitational, which included No. 54 Hawaii - the tournament host - as well as Hawaii Pacific.

On Monday, seventh-ranked sophomore Zsofi Susanyi dispatched Hawaii Pacific's Lelyzaveta Rybakova, 6-2, 6-3, while ninth-ranked junior Anett Schutting defeated HPU's Karen Ramirez-Rivera, 6-1, 6-1. Also in singles, senior Tayler Davis topped Hawaii's Kelsey Daguio, 6-2, 6-1; 109th-ranked freshman Lynn Chi beat UH's Katarina Poljakova, 6-2, 6-4; sophomore Cecilia Estlander knocked off Hawaii's Rebecca Faltusz, 6-4, 6-0; junior Kelly Chui beat the Rainbow Wahine's Xenia Suworowa, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3; freshman Klara Fabikova topped Hawaii's Martina Kostalova, 6-2, 6-1; and sophomore Laura Posylkin dropped the first set but rebounded to win the next two against UH's Paulina Petriskova, 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.

Cal's 59th-ranked tandem of Posylkin and junior Alice Duranteau won its match against Hawaii's Poljakova and Suworowa, 8-4, and the duo of Schutting/Chi prevailed, 8-3, over Hawaii Pacific's Rybakova/Celina Goetti, 8-3. Chui/Estlander beat UH's Faltusz/Kelly Domingo, 8-1, while Susanyi/Fabikova also beat UH's Petriskova/Kostalova, 8-1.

The Bears next host the Cal Winter Invitational from Friday, Jan. 18, through Sunday, Jan. 20, in Berkeley.
