FINAL:  VCU 5, Minnesota 2 (ITA Kickoff – Athens, Ga.)
THE BASICS:

    The No. 32 VCU Men's Tennis team rallied off a 2-0 deficit and rallied to win five straight matches to beat No. 34 Minnesota in the ITA Kickoff Tournament in Athens, Ga.
    After dropping the first two doubles matches, the duo of junior Alejandro Argente and senior Jamie Vazquez beat Minnesota's Jack Humburg and Eric Freuh (8-4) to give the Rams a point.
    The Rams won five of the singles matches against the Golden Gophers. Junior Alexis Heugas,  freshman Michael Voscek (pictured, right), sophomore Claes Goransson, Argente and Vazquez all won their respective matches to propel the Black and Gold to the victory.
