SKILLMAN, N.J. - Baylor women's tennis sophomore Ema Burgic is ranked No. 11 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association singles rankings, while partnering with redshirt freshman Victoria Kisialeva to be listed at No. 10 in the final doubles rankings, the ITA announced on Wednesday.

As a team, Baylor finished the year ranked No. 20, after compiling a 17-15 record and making the second round of the NCAA Championships. BU earns a top-20 designation for a ninth-straight season.

Despite missing the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships because of an ankle injury, Burgic finishes the year with the highest singles ranking by a BU player since Lenka Broosova was ninth in 2010.

With the top-20 finish, Burgic earns All-American singles honors for the first time and gives Baylor at least one singles All-American for nine straight years.

In 2013, Burgic racked up a 25-5 dual-match record and ended the season on a 17-match win streak with all of those contests coming at the No. 1 spot. Overall, Burgic finished 42-8 on the season and 24-6 against ranked opponents. That win total is the fourth-most in BU history for a single season. The Lukavac, Bosnia & Herzegovina, product was named the Big 12 Player of the Year and the ITA National Player to Watch.

Burgic earns her second All-American award in doubles, after partnering with Nina Secerbegovic to be ranked No.14 in 2012.

This season, Burgic and Kisialeva had a 19-3 record on court 1 and a 25-3 mark overall. The BU tandem was 8-2 in its last 10 decisions, including six straight wins.

The tandem is the highest ranked Baylor duo since Broosova and Csilla Borsanyi were ninth in 2010.

Baylor also made a splash in the ITA Texas Region rankings, placing three in the top 20 in singles and one in the top 10 in doubles. Ranked No. 2 as a team in the region, Baylor had Burgic at No. 2, Jordaan Sanford at No. 13 and Kiah Generette at No. 19 in singles. In doubles, the Lady Bears had Burgic/Kisialeva at No. 1.
