The Pearl River Lady Wildcats were able to win both matches on the road Tuesday, Southwest in the morning and CoLin in the afternoon.

At Southwest, the Lady Wildcats won all six courts played.  In doubles, at No.1 Kasey King of Purvis and Alyssa Wolfe of Foxworth defeated Morgan Matthews and Morgan McKee 8-2 and at No.2 Janae Norwood of Hattiesburg and Kristen Barber of Sandy Hook defeated Caitlin Adams and Ashley Brewer 8-5.  No.3 doubles was not played.

In singles, at No.1, King defeated Matthews 6-2, 6-1; at No.2, Norwood defeated Adams 4-6, 6-0, 10-8; at No.3, Wolfe defeated McKee 6-0, 6-4; and at No.4 Kenyatta Epps of Yazoo City defeated Brewer 6-0, 6-0.
No. 5 and 6 singles were not played.

Following the morning match, the Lady Wildcats traveled to Wesson to take on the CoLin Lady Wolves, winning four of the seven courts played during the match up.  In doubles, the Lady Wildcats were unable to pull any points with King and Wolfe falling 8-3 to Rosa Young and Katie Beth Case at No.1, and Norwood and Barber falling to Magee and Huff 8-5 at No.2.  No.3 doubles was not played.

In singles, the Lady Wildcats only dropped one court.  King, at No.1, fell to Young 6-3, 6-4.  The Lady Wildcats swept the remaining four courts with Norwood defeating Case 6-1, 6-2 at No.2; Wolfe defeating Magee 6-4, 5-7, 12-10 at No.3; Epps defeating Huff 6-1, 6-2 at No.4; and Barber defeating McDonnieal at No.5.  The No.6 position was not played.

The Lady Wildcats will be at home Tuesday, April 13, for their last match of season.  They will be taking on the Jones County Lady Bobcats at 1:00 p.m.  The Lady Wildcats will then be leaving on Wednesday to travel to Tupelo to compete in the MACJC Women's State Tennis Championships.  Tournament play is scheduled to start Thursday.
