Laie, HI—The 30th-ranked Brigham Young University Hawaii men’s tennis team defeated College of Idaho today 8-1 to improve to 11-6 for the season. The Seasiders took two of the three doubles matches and swept the six singles matches to complete the season.
Diego Miranda and C.J. Adamson picked up an 8-3 at the top doubles position while Daniel Lawler and Chandler Howell claimed an 8-1 win at number three doubles.
Rong Ma won 6-1, 6-2 at the top singles slot and Agnel Peter breezed to a 6-0, 6-0 win at number two. Miranda scored a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third singles and Andy Xing collected a 6-0, 6-2 win at number four. Taylor De Hoyas won 6-2, 6-0 at number five singles and Lawler closed out a 6-1, 6-3 win at the sixth position.
