NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 23-ranked Yale women's tennis team concluded a perfect weekend at home Sunday with a 6-1 victory over Miami (Ohio). The Bulldogs (6-1, 0-0 Ivy) recorded another victory on Friday, defeating Boston University 7-0.

Sunday marked the first time since their home opener on Jan. 20 that the Bulldogs won all three doubles matches. While the team has used 11 different pairings so far this season, Sunday's doubles partners were the same as Friday's against Boston University. In a familiar pairing that has traditionally been one of the strongest for the Bulldogs, senior captain Elizabeth Epstein and junior Annie Sullivan joined forces at No. 2 to deliver their opponents an 8-1 loss.

Epstein, currently ranked No. 63 in the country, was also dominant at singles, where she defeated Alix Thurman at No. 2 by a score of 6-1, 6-1. Sullivan had a more difficult match at No. 5 but eventually prevailed, edging Christine Guerrazzi in three sets. With the win, Sullivan moves to 6-0 on the season.

This weekend was also a big one for sophomore Hanna Yu, who kept her singles opponents to only five games and went 2-0 at doubles with junior Blair Seideman. Yu boasts a 4-1 record at No. 4 this season.

The Bulldogs will return to action on March 9 when they host St. John's.
