• Parking for both matches is FREE and will be in the west stadium lot by Bronco Gym. 
• Patrons will need to print off a ticket from one of the kiosks located throughout the lot and place on your dash.
• Please remember your parking space number since it will have to be entered at the kiosk.
• You will be able to select parking for the tennis match at the kiosk and there will be no cost.

• Boise State continues its six-match homestand this week when the Broncos host UC Santa Barbara (9-5) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and Pepperdine (7-7) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. 

   

• Coach Patton is looking for his 800th career win as a collegiate coach needing two to reach the milestone.

   

• The Broncos enter the weekend having won two straight over UNLV (4-3) and Eastern Washington (6-1) and are looking to extend their win streak when they face the Gauchos and Waves.

   

• Leading the way in singles for Boise State are Jack Heslin (So., Auckland, New Zealand) who is 16-10 overall and 9-7 in duals splitting time primarily between courts two and three ... Brian Tran (Fr., Greystanes, Australia) is 12-9 on the year and 9-8 in duals playing mostly at No. 2 and 3 singles ... Kyle Butters (So., Wanganui, New Zealand) has played No. 1 singles in nearly every match this year going 4-9 in duals and 10-13 overall this year. 

   

• Leading the team in doubles play is the tandem of Kyle Butters and Jack Heslin who are 11-8 together ... but the lineup has fluctuated lately with Pedro Platzeck andBrian Tran (4-3 overall) playing at No. 1, while Kyle Butters and Ryland McDermott (4-1) have played together with Heslin splitting time paired with either Greg Wischer (1-0) or Harvey Shackleton. 

   

• The Broncos have one of the youngest rosters in the NCAA featuring five sophomores and three freshmen, no upperclassmen.

   

• UC Santa Barbara enters the match at 9-5 overall ... the Gauchos have won two straight by 6-1 scores over Gonzaga and Princeton at Santa Barbara. 

   

• The Gauchos’ doubles team of Simon Freund and Morgan Mays is ranked No. 9 nationally.

   

• UCSB is a member of the Big West Conference where they are a perennial power.

   

• UCSB is Boise State head coach Greg Patton’s alma mater.

   

• Pepperdine enters the weekend at 7-7 overall ... the Waves have an active three-match win streak going with home victories over Princeton (6-1), Saint Mary’s (4-0) and Pacific (4-0).

   

• Guilherme Galvao leads the Waves playing No. 1 singles where he is 7-6 in duals and 14-10 overall ... Pedro Iamachkine (15-9) and Stefan Menichella (12-6) follow Galvao and have split time playing on courts two, three and four. 

   

• In doubles their top team is Menchilla and Jack Van Slyke who are 6-7 on court one, while Guilherme Hadlich and Gabriel Sidney are 9-2 in duals playing at No. 2 doubles. 

   

• Boise State has won two straight matches including a 6-1 victory this past Monday over Eastern Washington in Boise. 

   

• Jack Heslin’s straight-set victory at No. 2 singles clinched the match for Boise State as the Broncos rolled past Eastern Washington ... Boise State took the doubles point from EWU 2-0 to open the match, then followed with five wins in singles by Pedro Platzeck, Morgan Stone, Heslin, Ryland McDermott and Brian Tran, respectively. 
  

• Greg Patton enters his 21st season at Boise State where he has posted a 447-190 record while winning 14 conference championships in three different conferences.

   

• This is the General’s 37th season as a collegiate head coach ... Patton has put together an impressive 798-383 record, which currently ranks him first nationally for most wins by an active NCAA Division I men’s tennis coach and fourth all-time.

   

• Since returning to Boise State in 2003, Patton guided the team to four-consecutive Mountain West Tournament Championships (2012-15) during its first four seasons in the conference. He also earned Western Athletic Conference titles in four of nine seasons (2003, 2005-07), as well as a WAC regular-season championship in 2009.

   

• The 2017 Mountain West Conference Men’s Tennis Championship Tournament will be held April 28-30 at Boise State’s Appleton Tennis Center.

   

• This is the first time that the league’s championship event has been in Boise.

   

• The Broncos have won four MW titles (2012-15) in their first five years as members of the conference.
