Tennis Live: Really a great win for you. Talk about how it feels.

Arnau Brugues: Well, I feel amazing. I starting this tournament just thinking I win just a few matches and at the end of the tournament I won the whole thing.

Tennis Live: John Isner seeded number one going for his second straight tournament win. Did you expect to do this in the finals and beat him?

Arnau Brugues: I got to the finals and for me it was like winning the tournament already. I was the underdog and I just tried to have fun and enjoy that moment. I think I played a great match.

Tennis Live: You were seeded fifth coming into this [All-American Championships] and you had the opportunity to play in the Challenger event in Tulsa. Talk about how that got you ready for the college matches.

Arnau Brugues: Before I came to college I played four years on the ATP Tour. I think to play on the ATP it gives you an advantage against other players because you are more experienced.

Tennis Live: John Isner is a guy who has played in the US Open and he has a pro level game. After beating him and being the national champion in the Fall does that give you confidence that you might be able to play some pro events this summer and do some damage?

Arnau Brugues: Yeah absolutely. I think with that win I have more confidence and I think I can play at this level and have a chance to be a pro tennis player in the future because that is my goal.

Tennis Live: Talk about how you think you can help the team ands how far the team can go together in the Spring time.

Arnau Brugues: Well we have the same team as last year and we are getting better. We are more experienced right now than last year and we can go forward. Hopefully we can play the Sweet Sixteen that I think is our goal right now.
