BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State men's and women's tennis coaches will face a test of strength and endurance when they attempt to fill every seat of Taco Bell Arena by themselves, Wednesday Feb. 13 for the Boise State Tennis Sit-A-Thon.
The coaches will combine to sit in all of the 11,867 seats in the arena in preparation for the Boise State wrestling match later that night, raising money to help support both tennis programs. The coaches were successful in their first attempt in 2011.
"We know that this is no small feat," said women's tennis head coach Beck Roghaar. "When we get to chair number 11,000 it boils down to will power and knowing the ice bags are ready for us when we're done! It's just a great way to support our tennis programs as coaches and as a community, so we're ready for one of the toughest workouts of our lives."
