KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The No. 14 women's tennis team picked up its fifth-straight win Saturday with a victory over Western Michigan. The Boilermakers took down the Broncos, 6-1, at the West Hills Athletic Club.

Purdue (6-1) romped through doubles on the way to the point. Mara Schmidt played with Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum for the first time in her career. She defeated Remynse, 6-1, 6-3.

Western Michigan (6-7) prolonged the decision after it picked up its first singles win of the day. Sujashvili improved to 8-5 on the season with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Xepoleas at No. 1. Purdue turned around and clinched the match with a straight-sets win at No. 5. Imogen Golder, back in the lineup after a two match break, defeated Kelsey King, 6-3, 6-4.
