LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Boise State men’s tennis fell 4-0 at the hands of the Texas Tech Red Raiders on the opening day of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Los Angeles. The 34th-ranked Broncos were knocked off by the 48th-ranked Red Raiders after falling in two of the three doubles contests followed by defeats in the first three singles matches completed. Tenreiro took on 28th-ranked Soares from TTU and battled hard through two sets. After dropping the opening set 6-3, Tenreiro fought back in the second set and was tied 5-5 before Soares held him off for a 6-3, 7-5 victory to make the team score 3-0 Texas Tech.

The match was clinched for the Red Raiders on court four where Brian Foley fell to TTU’s Sendegeya in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.
