Dominik Mueller
Dominik Mueller is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Baylor men's tennis team after serving one season as the volunteer assistant. Mueller spent four years playing for the Bears finishing with the most dual-match wins in school history with 96.
While serving as the volunteer assistant, Mueller completed his degree in finance and graduated in May of 2011. After graduation, he started work on his Master's in Sports Management.
During his time as a player, the Bears won three Big 12 regular season titles, three Big 12 Championship crowns and made one NCAA semifinal and three NCAA quarterfinal appearances.
Beside his record for most career dual-match wins, Mueller ranks third in total singles wins (120), sixth in win percentage (.774) and eighth in conference wins (19).
The German native also is tied for first in most single-season dual matches won with 28 and is tied for eighth in single matches won in a season with 37.
Before coming to Baylor, Mueller competed in both the French Open and U.S. Open Junior Tournaments. He reached No. 35 in ITF World Junior rankings. Mueller took down Kevin Anderson to win Offenbach, an ITF Grade 1 event, in Frankfurt, Germany. It was one of Mueller's nine victories over players that at one time have been ranked in the top-100 by the ATP.
