2014-15 | FRESHMAN HIGHLIGHTS
    Finished his first season in the Blue and Orange with a 5-8 singles record going 3-3 in fall tournaments and 2-5 in spring team duals.  Went 3-6 overall in doubles on the year, 1-1 in fall competition and 2-5 in the spring. Won the Dar Walters Boise State Fall Classic consolation singles title for his flight, rallying for the win over Whitman College’s Phillip Locklear in three-sets 6-7 (8), 6-3, 7-6 (3).  First singles win as a Bronco came at the Dar Walters (Oct. 3) against Eastern Washington’s Rendell Burghart 7-6 (5), 6-4.   Defeated Fresno State’s Alexandros Vakouftsis 6-3, 6-1 during regular season dual at Boise on April 12.  First doubles victory for Boise State was with Abe Hewko at the Dar Walters (Oct. 3) against Whitman’s Petar Jivokov and Phillip Locklear by an 8-7 (4) score.

PRIOR TO BOISE STATE
    A 2014 graduate of Hackett Catholic Central High School in Kalamazoo, Mich. As a four-year starter for the varsity team helped lead the Irish to two-consecutive conference titles, three straight region titles and four state tournament appearances ... HCCHS reached the state semifinals during his junior and senior seasons, quarterfinals as a sophomore. In 2013 he took third place at the United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) Midwest Winter Championships ... quarterfinalist at a USTA designated series event ... semifinalist at the USTA Midwest Qualifier. Prep Honors: Highly decorated in high school career earning first-team recognition all four years on the all-state, all-region and all-conference teams ... team captain junior and senior seasons. Other Honors: Three-time member of the National Honor Society. Region Honors: USTA honors were numerous as well ranked No. 20 for the Great Lakes Region, sixth in Michigan for his class, top 200 national (183) and RPI (174) rankings, received the USTA’s Karie Schlukebir Pennock Award in 2014.
