Farley Field House and the Pickard Fields

Bowdoin is home to eight outdoor hard courts surrounded by towering pine trees and the Pickard Fields, and four courts inside Farley Field House.  Farley also houses an indoor track, Olympic-size swimming pool, training room, weight room, and aerobics room.  In the winter months, the players also use six indoor hard courts located a half-mile up the road at Maine Pines.  Maine Pines also houses a racquetball court, aerobics room, and a full weight room.

35 Acres of beautiful fields, surrounded by the Maine woods, the Pickard Fields are home to Bowdoin’s field sports.  Blessed with amazing natural drainage and assisted by in ground irrigation, the fields provide some of best settings for games and practice in the country.  Bowdoin recently added a brand new artificial turf field for lacrosse and field hockey as well.
