General Info: One of only two seniors on the team • Mature and talented athlete who is expected to have a breakout season if she remains healthy • Transferred to Georgia Tech from California at the start of the 2002 spring semester • A steady contributor for the Jackets in 2003, and expected be a team leader in 2004.

2002-2003: Battled injury early in the year, but rounded into form late in the spring, emerging as a steady performer for the Yellow Jackets in the bottom half of the singles lineup • Recorded a 9-6 record in dual matches in 2003, including a 5-1 mark at the No. 6 position • Was also 3-3 in six matches at No. 4 • Won four of her last five matches to end the season, including a three-set win over Florida State’s Brooke Cordell (5-7, 6-3, 10-2) to help Tech to a 5-2 win over the 48th-ranked Seminoles on April 5 and a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Kate Romm of Cal Poly in the first round of the NCAA Tournament • Also won her doubles match in the first round of the tournament, teaming with Kacie Anson to win by an 8-4 score • Downed South Carolina’s Magda Wojdylo at No. 4 singles by a 6-2, 6-0 score to help lead the Yellow Jackets past the 24th-ranked Gamecocks by a 7-0 count • Defeated Texas A&M’s Lauren Walker in three sets (6-4, 4-6, 6-2) to lead Tech to a 5-2 victory over the 30th-ranked Aggies • Was 10-12 overall in 2003 in singles play and 9-7 in doubles action.

2001-2002: Joined the team after the fall semester as a transfer from California • Finished the year tied for third on the team with 19 singles wins, while competing primarily in the No. 4-6 positions in the lineup • Recorded a 17-7 record in dual matches, the second-best mark on the team • Was a combined 9-2 in matches while playing either No. 5 or 6 in the lineup • Helped the Jackets to a 4-2 win over Michigan in the NCAA Tournament with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Joanne Musgrove • Was Tech’s lone singles winner against Kentucky, with a straight-set win over Leigh Bradwell (6-0, 6-4) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament • Spent four weeks ranked 41st in doubles with partner Mysti Morris, as the team finished the year with a 9-9 record, competing as the Jackets’ top doubles tandem for much of the late spring.

2000-01 (At California): Recorded 13 wins in both singles and doubles as a freshman at California • Finished the 2001 season with a 13-2 singles record and a 13-5 doubles mark as a rookie.

High School/Junior Tennis: Ranked fifth in singles and first in doubles in the 18’s for the USTA NorCal • Represented USTA NorCal in the prestigious Maze Cup against USTA Southern Cal • Won the girls 16 Southern Opening singles and doubles titles • An all-around athlete, Grant competed in swimming, track and tennis at Miramonte High School • Ran the 400 meters at the NorCal Track and Field Championships.
