•Started playing tennis at the age of five
•Started playing in tournaments and against competition at the age of eight
•At the age of eight, he was invited to play for the National Tennis Association
•Coached by Martin Böhm, former Davis Cup Captain in Sweden and England and coach of Swedish top players and Jos Koemans a former trainer for Robin Haase
•For 10 years he played for "de Metselaars" where well-known players like Richard Krajicek and Robin Haase also played before they turned professional.
•In the summer of 2012 he will be playing for a new club "Leimonias" which is the National Champion with Dutch players like Aranxta Rus and Thomas Schoorel.
•While playing for the Metselaars they won three consecutive Championships in a row with a team of very young talented players.
•After a few years we were the youngest team in the 1st division of the National League.
•Besides tennis he played soccer
•At the age of 15 he started playing at the highest level of senior tournaments in the Netherlands and after a year he reached his first final
•Played a few ITF Juniors tournaments (ITF2 and ITF4) but his focus was national senior tennis.
•In March 2011 he became the Dutch National Champion under 18 years.
•He won the quarterfinals against Rens van der Vis (6-1 6-4), who is now playing for Alabama, and in the final against Moos Sporken (6-3 6-2) who is currently ranked 52nd in ITF- rankings and former European Champion
•He considered this his greatest moment so far in tennis because this cup also had names on it like Richard Krajicek, Robin Haase, Raemon Sluiter, Paul Dogger and other Dutch top players.
