Luke Cachia will transfer to ECU for his Senior year. Cachia first attended Central Alabama Community College for his Freshman and Sophomore seasons where he received his Associates Degree, and then transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. At CACC, Cachia earned ITA All-American status in the 2002-2003 season. At Liberty University he played primarily #4 and #5 singles and #2 and #3 doubles for the NCAA Division 1 University.
Luke will add great depth to the Tiger singles lineup, as well as a solid presence in the doubles lineup. Cachia is a native of Melbourne, Australia and was born August 4th, 1983. He is the son of Paul and Tania Cachia, and will seek a Business Management Degree at ECU.
