Daniela Novakova
Daniela Novakova is in her first year as a graduate assistant tennis coach for the Eagles. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas-Arlington in 2007. She was a four-year member of the UTA women’s tennis team that was the 2004 Southland Conference Champions. She was also named the SLC Freshman of the Year in 2004 and All-SLC first-team in singles and doubles. In 2005 and 2006, she played at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles for a UTA team that was SLC finalists. In 2007, she played at No. 2 singles and doubles and was named first-team SLC after recording a 19-2 mark in singles play. She ranks among the top in numerous UTA women’s tennis records. Prior to joining UTA, she was ranked 181 in world junior singles rankings and was always a top-three player in the Czech junior rankings.
