Junior Year (2001-02): Participated in three preseason tournaments to open her junior season… played in three dual matches in singles in the spring going 2-0 at the No. 6 position and 0-1 at the No. 5 position… contributed mostly in doubles at the No.3 position with teammate Anca Dumitrescu…went 10-12 overall in doubles during the 2002 season…will look to provide leadership as the only senior on the 2002-03 team.

Sophomore Year (2000-01):In fall play Beth entered three tournaments including the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Hurricane Fall Classic, and the ITA South Regional…gained valuable experience in fall play and through spring practice…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

High School and other Accomplishments: She graduated from high school with highest honors, was on the Deans List throughout high school. Played at Singles No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, and doubles No. 1, while at Florida Southern College in Lakeland Florida. In singles play she went 11-7, while playing doubles with teammate Claire Hall they went 10-6 in 2000.

Personal: Celebrates a December 16th, 1980 birthday….daughter of John and Liz Lawrence…..major is marketing..hopes to be shaping boards in the next 2 years

Favorites: song is "Going to California" by Zeppelin…movie is the Breakfast Club…..loves the water and sunsets.
