Sophomore Year (2012-13):  Casagrande saw limited action for the Paladins, appearing in one singles match and five doubles matches.  He split sets at flight six versus #11 Florida, losing flight one 6-1 before winning the second set in a tiebreaker, 7-5(5).  Casagrande fell 10-5 in the tiebreaker.

Freshman Year (2011-12):  Casagrande competed on the men’s tennis team at Jacksonville, where he notched a 7-13 singles record, playing primarily in the number three and number four spots.  His most notable victory was a 6-3, 7-6 win over #50 North Florida at number three singles.  Casagrande played number one doubles for the Dolphins, posting seven victories, including an 8-5 win over #74 Stetson.  Jacksonville dropped the tennis programs at the completion of the 2011-12 season.  

Prep/Personal:  Richard Casagrande represented Thailand at an international tournament between South East Asian countries in Malaysia, reaching the semi-finals in singles and the finals in doubles, where he won the mixed doubles event.  He was a starting player on the soccer, basketball, and volleyball teams, and competed on the table tennis and badminton teams for Nakorn Payap International School.  Richard Casagrande was born on November 14, 1991, in Phuket, Thailand, to Suwadee and Rene Casagrande.  He is majoring in business administration.
