Prep/Personal: A five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Adam Steryous competed under coach Ryan Haviland at Greer Middle College, where he was ranked 22nd nationally. The second-ranked player in South Carolina and in the Southern Section, Steryous completed the 2013 season ranked 11th among all players in the Southeast. A member of the Southern Boys’ 18’s National Team, he won two Bullfrogs, the Southern Level 2 and the National Level 4, and was the top-ranked player in the state for Boys 18’s. Steryous was undefeated in high school play, earning player of the year accolades and all-region honors. Michael Adam Steryous was born on May 31, 1995, in Taylors, S.C. to Todd and Lena Steryous.
