Chris Tran is in his second year the as volunteer assistant coach women's tennis team. He is currently the Head of Junior Development at the Audrey Moore ReCenter in Annandale, VA, teaching beginners in clinics and private-lesson settings, along with team tennis practices. Tran previously served as the Head of Junior Development at Regency Sport & Health in McLean, VA, and at Annandale (VA) Sport & Health, where he organized USTA/Virginia district and Mid-Atlantic Junior tournaments and ran practices for people of all ages and skill levels on a day-to-day basis.

Tran is president and founder of the Vietnamese-American Junior Tennis Association and also serves on the Board of Directors for Mid-Atlantic Tennis Education Foundation. He holds certification in USPTA, USNTA and EC. Tran's playing days included participation in U.S. Open tournaments in Virginia, Maryland and DC from 1982-1997. In 2004, he was awarded the USTA Mid-Atlantic Volunteer of the Year award. He resides in Manassas, VA.
