AMANDA YOGUS
Amanda is a Florida native from Seminole and is a second year Lady Hawk player.
Amanda was born March 28, 1987 to Matthew and Katherine Yogus. Amanda has been playing tennis for 15 years and played national as well as super national USTA tournament events. At Seminole High School, Amanda was a two year district champion and was twice a semi-finalist at the State Finals. Amanda also won team MVP honors three times. She considers her grandparents to be her biggest tennis influence.
In 2005, Amanda won the ITA Junior College Doubles National Championship in Fort Myers, Florida with partner Hiroko Nishikawa. In the spring, Amanda played number 4 singles and posted a 16-3 singles mark and 14-4 in doubles. Amanda earned Honorable Mention All-American at the NJCAA National Tournament in Tucson, Arizona.
