Chelsea is a Florida native from Sarasota and is in her second season as a Lady Hawk.
Chelsea was born September 3, 1987 to Jerry and Susan Best. She has been playing tennis for the past eleven years. Chelsea was a four year letter winner at Sarasota High School and played # 1 singles her senior year. She placed 10th in State Finals and was name team MVP. Chelsea considers her biggest tennis influence to be her mom and coach Scott Chandler.
Last season with the Hawks, Chelsea played # 5 singles and earned All-American Honorable Mention for singles at the NJCAA National Tournament in Tucson, Arizona.
