ALBA PASSANISI

Alba, from Caracos, Venezuela has been playing tennis for six years and is in her second year at HCC and is a co-captain.

Alba was born January 15, 1987 to Salvatore and Albaida and has a brother Leo and sister Cristy. While in Venezuela, Alba attended Zona Education Carabobo. Alba has won a bronze medal for team doubles and mixed doubles at Nationals in Venezuela. She was also the States 16’s Doubles Champion. Alba considers her greatest tennis influence to be her family.

Last year with the Hawks, Alba earned 1st Team All-American honors, winning the flight 2 doubles National Championship with partner Mizuho Nishimura.  Alba played number 3 singles and posted a 12-4 singles record and a 11-5 doubles record.
