Katy Zaleski was the surprise story of the year for the Hawks last season. Katy, 24 was “starting over” after playing tennis for Pasco Hernando back at the age of 18 and stopped going to school. She is now re-doing a wrong and was named Team Captain and won the Coaches 4 C’s award. Katy was a runner-up at the FCCAA State tournament in doubles with partner Bridgette Carrillo while compiling a 7-9 overall doubles record. Katy is most known for always being positive attitude and great work ethic. Katy returns as a captain for a second year.
