 Chad Berryhill

Chad Berryhill is a graduate of Ferris State University. He holds a specialized degree in Professional Tennis Management. Coach Berryhill, a native of Michigan, has five years experience as a high school coach. In 2005, was honored as the Michigan Regional Coach of the Year. Chad is a USPTA and PTR certified tennis professional, a Master Racquet Technician (MRT) and served a two-year term as Ferris State’s PTM program President. Chad has also worked for the Nike Tennis Camps at Michigan State University, Court One Athletic Club in Lansing, Michigan, and as Director of Tennis at the Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Chad also in 2008 served as the Director of Tennis for the Tennis Academy at Harvard.  Chad is currently working on a masters degree from the University of South Florida in Physical Education.

Entering his fourth year, Coach Berryhill led the Hawks to back-to-back National Runner-Up finishes at the NJCAA National Tournament in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, the Hawks won there first ever FCCAA State Tournament in which Coach Berryhill was named the FCCAA Coach of the Year. In 2008, the Hawks again won the FCCAA State Championship and were the NJCAA National Champions where Berryhill was named Region IV Coach of the Year, FCCAA Coach of the Year, and NJCAA Coach of the Tournament.

In addition to leading the HCC Lady Hawks, Chad is the Administrative Director and Staff Professional with the highly successful Steve Smith Tennis and serves as the manager for the twenty-eight court HCC Tennis Complex.
