Junior: Brajkovic started the fall off teamimg up with Vedran Vidovic and winning the “A” doubles flight at the Ball State Fall Classic beating a duo from conference foe Drake. Also at Ball State, Brajkovic reached the quarterfinals before falling to the eventual champion 7-5, 6-4.
Sophomore: Last January, Brajkovic won the #4 singles flight at the MVC Individual Championships. Brajkovic was named the Missouri Valley’s Player-of-the-Week for the week of March 13. The transfer was instrumental in the team’s win over #18 Minnesota at the Ice Volleys Championship in mid-January. The Croatian received MVC Scholar-Athlete honorable mention honors with his 3.00 GPA. Brajkovic teamed up with fellow Croatian Vedran Vidovic in doubles to earn All-MVC honors at the #2 spot. The 21 year-old tied for second on the team with most singles wins with his record of 34-11. Brajkovic’s doubles record on the season was 31-13.
Texas-El Paso: Brajkovic played at the number one position and finished the season with a record of 10-11 in singles. He defeated the #69 NCAA ranked player in his second match ever as a freshman beginning a fantastic season. Brajkovic was once named WAC Singles Player of the Week. Brajkovic also teammed up with now Sycamore teammate Vedran Vidovic at number one doubles to post a record of 9-9 on the season.
Prep: Brajkovic was the best national player in his age group at the end or during the season from
1993-1998. In 1997, Brajkovic won the Croatian National Under-18 Singles and Doubles titles.
In 1996, Brajkovic played in the semi-finals at ITF Singles in France, there defeating the #5 ranked 16 year old in the world. Also in 1996, Brajkovic won the Nationals under 16 singles indoor title. Brajkovic is a two-time Croatian Masters (best 16 players of the year) winning in both 1992 and 1995
