BEFORE ISU: Awarded full colours in high school for tennis, half-colours for academics. Chosen to play for Maccabi Games in 2005. Won Mini-Series in South Africa. Attended Crawford Prepatory earning full colours for tennis and full colours for academics.
PERSONAL: Born on June 10, 1990, in Johannesburg, South Africa, the son of Meryl and Craig Smith. Majoring in Pre-Engineering. Has a brother, Zachary, who is playing tennis at Stonybrook University.
