Freshman (1998-99): Played No. 1 singles her entire freshman season ... posted nine wins (9-23), including a Big 12 win over Kansas State’s Anna Pampoulova ... played No. 1 and No. 2 doubles ... compiled a 6-12 record playing No. 1 doubles with Karin Westberg ... went 4-5 in dual matches and tournaments with Kendra Leese at No. 2 doubles ... shared the team’s most valuable player award with Mary Rumbaoa ... competed in tournaments over the summer of 1999 in Holland.

Before ISU: Started playing tennis at age six ... played for a Dutch selection team until age 11 ... attended RTN, a Dutch tennis academy, for five years ... coached by Jos Klaassen ... served on the organizing committee of the regional tennis championships ... helped on the youth tennis board.
