KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. – The 29th-ranked LSU men’s tennis team gears up for three days of competition at the Key Biscayne Invitational hosted at the Tennis Center at Crandon park beginning on Friday.
“We are looking to pick up where we left off in the fall,” LSU head coach Jeff Brown said. “We want a way to kick start the spring, and this tournament, along with the SEC Indoor Championships next weekend, is a good way to get everyone ready for the dual season.”
Other teams competing in the tournament include No. 8 Texas, No. 33 Michigan and Denver. There will be no team scoring, and in both singles and doubles, each player will compete individually.
LSU will kick off competition at 11:30 a.m. CDT as it takes on Michigan in doubles. Following doubles play, the Tigers will square off against the Texas Longhorns in singles.
