TAMPA, Fla.--- The LSU men’s tennis team went undefeated in doubles Sunday to conclude their run at the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
The Tigers went 3-0 in doubles play with victories by Stefan Szacinski and James Turbervill, Tom Knights and Matt Zachary, and John Michaelis and David Roberts to round out the day.
In singles, Knights, Roberts and Zachary all accumulated wins against their opponents.
“We played well today, sweeping doubles and winning three out of our six singles matches,” head coach Jeff Brown said. “We had a good fall and will continue to work hard and prepare for the spring. We definitely look forward to what the spring season will have in store.”
The Tigers are tentatively set to kick off the season Feb. 2. The official schedule will be announced shortly.
