2001 Fall Season

Opened the fall tournament season as the 29th-ranked singles player in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association ... Finished fall competition with an overall record of 6-5 and notched dominating wins over two ranked opponents ... Defeated 52nd-ranked Paco Antelo from South Florida, 7-5, 6-1, and Louisiana-Lafayette’s Jason Pieters, 6-4, 6-3 ... Advanced to the championship final of the first-annual LSU Showcase before falling to Tulane’s 15th-ranked Michal Kogan ... Finished the fall season with a 5-3 mark in doubles competition.

 Junior Season (2000-01)

Finished the dual-match season as the 51st-ranked singles player in the nation ... Was ranked a career-high No. 48 in the nation at one point during the season ... Member of the first-team All-Louisiana Men’s Tennis team ... Ended with a 25-9 overall singles record during the season including a remarkable 18-2 mark on court No. 2 ... Competed at No. 4 in SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament and proved to be a big part of the team’s success ... Was 3‑2 following his injury including upset win over Olaf Akesson of South Carolina in the SEC semifinal ... Went 8‑0 in doubles with partner Michal Chmela ...
