Listed at No. 9, with partner James Cluskey, in the Fila Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason rankings … defeated No. 79-ranked Pedro Campos of South Carolina in straights sets, 6-4, 6-4, at the Auburn Invitational … Compiled a 3-3 record in singles and 2-2 doubles mark.
Junior Season (2006-07)
Named an ITA Doubles All-American … Won the SEC Indoor Doubles Championship with Danny Bryan … Compiled a 11-11 record in singles and 24-4 record in doubles … Captured one of the biggest wins of his career against Tennessee in the SEC Tournament by defeating No. 40-ranked Bobby Cameron of Tennessee, 7-5, 6-3 … Ranked No. 25 in the ITA Southeast Regional Rankings … Clinched LSU’s 4-3 win over Rice on Feb. 20 … Sat out most of the fall with a back injury … Ranked No. 86 in the preseason ITA rankings … received third varsity letter.

Earned second-team All-SEC honors … Finished the season ranked No. 43 in doubles with partner Danny Bryan as the duo won their last 11 matches of the season… His biggest singles victory came on March 31 when he defeated Ole Miss’s Eric Claesson in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4, to clinch the victory for the Tigers over the then eight-ranked Rebels (3/31/06) … Competed in four tournaments during the fall season ... Won the doubles title in the Rice Crown Plaza Invitational with Bryan ... Made the finals of the ITA Southeast Regional ...
