Dove into Division I tennis with a strong first season at LSU... named an ITA All-American in doubles competition, First Team All-SEC, First Team All-Louisiana and Louisiana Newcomer of the Year... Finished the season ranked No. 4 in doubles competition as he and partner Ken Skupski reached the finals of the NCAA Men's Doubles National Chmpionship... Won the ITA Southeast Regional Championships with Skupski in their first tournament as a doubles team... Recorded a 34-10 overall record with Skupski... Notched 16 wins over nationally ranked doubles opponents and a 9-2 record in conference play... Defeated the then No. 1 team of Scott Green and Ross Wilson of Ohio State, 8-4, on Feb. 19... Finised the season ranked No. 73 in singles with a 20-15 overall record... Played mostly at No. 2 singles with a 12-1 record... Defeated third-randed Catalin Gard of Ole Miss on April 1 in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2... Named an ITA Scholar- Athlete and member of the SEC Acdameic honor Roll... Earned first varsity letter.

Won two national doubles titles at Tyler Junior College... Was an All-American in 2003 and 2004... Ranked as high as No. 1 in both doubles and singles while at Tyler... Played on the British Junior National team in 2000.
