“He improved a lot last year. He was away from tennis for a while before he got to LSU and his work ethic is second to none. He goes out there and gives it his all every day at practice. We are pleased with fall performance and we will try to get a good combination for him in doubles.”
Known for his intensity and work ethic, the former walk-on is ready to make a name for himself this season as the coaching staff will try to utilize him to where he can maximize his potential in singles and doubles.
Fall 2006
Teamed up with Martel Campbell to take the C flight doubles bracket title at the Rice Invitational … Teamed up with Kevin Dessauer to win the doubles bracket at the Ragin’ Cajun Classic ... Notched 4-4 wins in singles and 7-1 wins in doubles.
Junior Season (2005-06)
Walked on to the team during the fall after a two year absence from tennis … Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete … Compiled a 6-4 record in singles and 4-2 in doubles … Saw limited action in the spring, only competing in three singles matches and two doubles matches … In the fall, played in three tournaments ... Qualified for the ITA Southeast Regional Championships … Earned first varsity letter.
