Prior to Marshall: Brown brings another set of impressive credentials to the Herd...she has been ranked in the top five of the Missouri Valley Tennis Section throughout her career and in the top 100 nationally in the USTA rankings...Her highest national ranking in the 18’s is No. 77...at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, she placed third in state tennis both sophomore and junior year and was fifth in the state her freshman season...Brown was selected first-team All-Metro in the Kansas City area all three years...she was also her team's most valuable player...along with her tennis career, Brown lettered on the high school's varsity soccer team freshman year and was awarded as the team's best offensive player...She was selected for the 2001, 2002 and 2003 "Who's Who Among High School Students"...she is the daughter of Pam and Dan Brown
