Outdoor Tennis Courts
Michigan State's outdoor tennis facilities are located in the heart of campus, south of the Duffy Daugherty Football Building off Wilson Road.
The outdoor courts facility consists of 20 courts and portable seating for fans. The courts, part of a $1.8 million project, have stood since 1996 and are available to the public when not in use by the MSU varsity tennis teams.
Indoor Tennis Facility
Stemming from a $4.5 million package approved by the Michigan State Board of Trustees in 1985, the $1.9 million MSU Indoor Tennis Facility was the second of four new athletic construction projects to be completed on the MSU campus. The facility officially opened on Jan. 17, 1986.
The 69,000 square-foot building is one of the finest indoor collegiate tennis facilities in the country. Located on Mt. Hope Road on the MSU campus, the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility houses eight courts, permanent seating for 1,200 spectators (150 seats behind each court), men's and women's locker rooms and a pro shop.
The MSU Indoor Tennis Facility serves students, faculty and university personnel, as well as the Spartan men's and women's varsity tennis teams.
