FALL--Was 5-5 in singles in the autumn, 7-5 in doubles...Teamed with Pinto to register some of the best doubles results in recent MSU history, reaching the semifinals of the ITA All-American Hardcourt Championships (Chattanooga, TN) in October...That showing qualified the duo for the ITA National Indoor Championships (Ann Arbor, MI), where they reached the consolation semifinals...The pair also advanced to the quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships (Athens, GA) early in the schedule...In singles, posted a 2-1 singles record at the Gator Invitational (Gainesville, FL) to open the semester.

2003-04 (JUNIOR):
Rebounded from his shoulder surgery to notch a productive junior season...17-17 in singles and 14-19 in doubles...Ended the year ranked 52nd nationally in doubles with Jose-Carlos Pinto...Earned academic awards from the ITA, Verizon and the SEC at the end of the year...Also named to the SEC Good Works Team.
FALL--Went 8-4 in singles and 6-4 in doubles in his first competition in nearly two years...Won his first five singles matches of the semester to reach the title contest of Division II singles at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships (Athens GA)...Also made the round of 16 of Division A at the Ragin' Cajun Classic (Lafayette, LA)...Paired with Jose-Carlos Pinto for a 4-3 doubles mark, including a round of 16 showing in Division I at the SIC.
SPRING--Was 9-12 in dual match singles play, 8-14 in doubles...Won seven of eight singles contests early in the season, clinching State's wins over UAB and Alabama...Named SEC Player of the Week for his play in State's league victories over Auburn and Alabama.

FALL--Tallied solid records in both singles (6-6) and doubles (9-7) during the beginning of his second year at State...All six wins were in straight sets and two of his six losses were in three...Opened autumn with a quarterfinal showing at the Citizens Bank Clay Court Championships (Johnson City, TN)...Advanced to the round of 16 at the Omni Hotels Southern Regional Championships (Knoxville, TN)...Ended the term strong with a 3-1 mark at the Bulldog Scramble (Athens, GA), losing only 13 games in the three victories...Was 8-4 in doubles with Le Belicard...The tandem made the round of 16 at the Southern Collegiate Championships (Athens, GA)...The pair went 4-0 in the prequalifying stages of the All-American Hardcourt Championships (Stone Mountain, GA) to advance to qualifying...The duo also reached the semifinals of the Omni Hotels Southern Regional Championships (Knoxville, TN).

2000-01 (FRESHMAN):
Went a solid 12-10 overall in singles, 15-10 in doubles, in his first season on the college level.
FALL--Did not compete.
SPRING--Posted 12-9 singles and 15-9 doubles marks during his first semester of dual match competition...Played every position in the lineup except for #1 doubles during the season, but found the majority of his success in the middle-to-lower positions...Notched a seven-match win streak in singles from Feb. 11 to March 4, but struggled to a 1-8 mark in the next five weeks of the season, suffering from some cramping problems during that stretch...Rebounded with victories in his last three completed matches, in the SEC Championship and in MSU's two matches in the NCAA Team Championship.

PRE-MSU:
Attended Colegio Miguel de Cervantes, Colegio Pio XII and Colegio Objetivo in his native Brazil...Was ranked fourth in Brazil in both singles and doubles in under 18s...His state ranking was #1...Also ranked 10th in South America in 16s.
