2007-08 (SOPHOMORE):
Looks to fill a role in the Bulldogs singles and doubles lineup this spring.
FALL—Played nine matches in which seven went to three sets...Won a consolation match at teh Southern Intercollegiates and a consolation match at the Crimson Tide Invitational...Posted a 4-2 mark in doubles play during the fall...Teamed with Philippe Frayssinoux in the MTSU Blue Raider Invitational to win three matches and claim the doubles title.

2006-07 (FRESHMAN):
Productive first fall season as a freshman with most success coming in doubles...Ranked 28th in doubles with Artem Kuznetsov entering the spring season.
FALL—Went 9-5 in doubles play and 7-8 in singles in his first action at MSU. Teamed with fellow freshman Artem Kuznetsov to defeat the nation's 19th ranked doubles team on their way to the Round of 16 at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships (Lexington, KY)...The pair also won two of three matches at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships (Tuscaloosa, AL) with the lone loss coming in a tiebreaker. In singles, reached the Flight A Consolation finals at the Georgia Tech Invitational (Atlanta, GA) and the quarterfinals of Flight A3 at the MTSU Blue Raider Invitational (Murfreesboro, TN). Closed out the fall by winning two matches at the Crimson Tide Fall Championships.
SPRING-Played in the middle part of the Bulldog lineup...Won three dual matches, defeating players from UAB, Auburn and Vanderbilt...Most sucess came in doubles...Tied for a team best with 16 overall doubles wins...Won six dual matches at the #2 spot with Artem Kuznetsov and reached a national ranking of 28th to start the spring...Won three SEC matches at the #2 doubles spot.

PRE-MSU:
Had a stellar prep career as a junior while attending Rigas Herdera Vidusskola ... Won the 2005 men's doubles Latvian National Championship followed by a runner-up finish in singles at the 2006 Latvian National Championships ... Ranked 187 in the International Tennis Federation Junior Rankings ... Placed second on the European Club Championships which concluded this year.
