Named to the 2011 SEC All-Freshman Team...  2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll as well as an ITA Scholar Athlete.   JUNIOR (2012-13)   Expected to take the step to the next level and be a central player for the Bulldog's 2012-13 season.   FALL - Defeated SEC and in-state foe Stefan Lindmark of Ole Miss in the Division I singles first round of the Southern Intercollegiates... After dropping his first round match at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships, defeated three-consecutive opponents to reach the semifinals of the singles consolation play in Auburn, Ala... Advanced to the Round of 16 in doubles with teammate Ethan Wilkinson at the USTA/ITA Southern Regional Championships.    SOPHOMORE (2011-12)   Posted a 16-15 record in singles play and a 12-10 record in doubles play, playing a majority of his doubles matches with teammate Ethan Wilkinson.   FALL - Tallied six wins in singles play and five in doubles... Took a solid match in the opening round of the Southern Intercollegiates in Athens... Earned two solid victories after qualifying for the qualifiers at the ITA National Championships in Tulsa, defeating 123rd-ranked Orlando Superlano of TCU in consolation play... Earned two victories at the USTA/ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn before falling in the round of 16... In doubles, paired with Bulldog James Chaudry, the duo tallied two solid victories at the USTA/ITA Southern Regionals before falling to eventual champs Borsos and Simpson of LSU... Also the tandem picked a solid consolation win over another LSU foe... Earned a solid win at the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa in qualifying action, paired with fellow teammate George Coupland.   SPRING - Posted a 10-11 singles record in dual-match play... Strung together four-consecutive victories midway through the season, including winning every match during the Blue Gray Classic... Defeated Filipp Pogostkin of Boise State to clinch MSU's victory against the No. 44 Broncos... His straight-sets victory against Texas Tech's Gabriel Wanderley clinch State's victory over the 23rd-ranked team...After dropping the first set in a tiebreaker, he battled back against Tennessee's Taylor Patrick to win and clinch the Bulldog's spot in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament...Posted a 7-5 record in doubles with his teammate Ethan Wilkinson, including winning their first three matches they player together.   FRESHMAN (2010-11):   Compiled a 17-15 singles record and 14-15 doubles slate in a very impressive freshman campaign... Was a major contributor in the Bulldogs' 2011 SEC Western Division title and the program's 20th NCAA Championship appearance... Named to the 2011 SEC All-Freshman Team... Was a 2011 ITA Scholar Athlete along with being named to the 2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll.   FALL - One of two newcomers for the Maroon and White this fall tallying two wins in singles and one in doubles...Had a strong start to his freshman season by defeating 108th ranked Cesare Gallo of Stetson in straight sets and lost a hard fought battle to South Florida's 53rd ranked Wael Kilani... Dropped a pair of matches in the qualifying draw at the ITA All-American Championships, one of three championship collegiate tennis events... In doubles with teammate George Coupland competed in the main draw of the ITA All-American Championships picking up a consolation victory over the No. 25 ranked doubles team in the country.   SPRING - Entered the spring season ranked 45th nationally in doubles... Helped MSU achieve at 7-0 victory against Tulane to open its home schedule... Hit the ground running in conference play by beginning his record in league play at 4-1, much like MSU's team record... Finished the SEC season with an 8-3 record, helping the Bulldogs to an SEC Western Division title... Started SEC action on a 5-1 run, clinching the USC match for the Maroon and White... Ousted Andres Bucaro of Florida State, clinching the match over the Seminoles en route to a second round match-up against Georgia Tech... Alongside fellow Bulldog James Chaudry, the duo took down three SEC opponents, including a doubles-clinching point over 4th ranked Tennessee where they took down the Vols in an easy 6-1 fashion... Tabbed with SEC All Fresman honors, SEC Academic Honor Roll as well as an ITA Scholar Athlete.     PRE-MSU:   Attended the Independent Learning School in Ontario, Canada... A two-time winner of the under-18 Canadian Nationals in 2009... Won the Ontario Provincial under-12, 14, 16 and 18 division and was the singles champion in 2009 Canada Junior Games... Has been ranked as high as 70th in the world junior rankings...
