Ranked 46th in singles and 7th in doubles alongside fellow Bulldog Louis Cant... Began the season on a 3-0 run before falling to 24th-ranked Sadio Doumbia of Georgia in the quarterfinals of Southern Intercollegiates in Athens... After falling to Illinois seventh-ranked Dennis Nevolo in the opening round of main draw action at the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa, battled his way to the quarterfinals of consolation play before falling to 19th-ranked Finn Tearney of Pepperdine in three sets... Earned four victories at the USTA/ITA Southern Regionals in Auburn before falling to eventual champion 71st-ranked Andreas Mies of Auburn in the semis... In doubles, started the season on a 5-0 tear with Louis Cant, taking the title at the Southern Intercollegiates... The duo ousted a 14th-ranked Duke opponent en route to a semifinals berth of consolation play at the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa. Tallied three victories en route to a semifinals defeat at the USTA/ITA Southern Regionals by eventual champions Borsos and Simpson of LSU... Ousted Mountain West champs Dobbs and Cirstea of Idaho in their final match at the ITA National Indoors in New York.   SPRING - Ranked 90th in singles and 12th in doubles alongside Louis Cant in the first ITA spring poll... Tallied a total of 14 victories in singles and 11 victories in doubles... Started the season with a 9-2 record, including a victory over 98th-ranked Jonas Lutjen, helping State reclaim the River Hills Cup with a victory against Ole Miss... After dropping the first set, defeated Auburn's Dan Cochrane to win his sixth-straight match and clinch the Bulldog's victory against the No. 12 Tigers... Defeated 57th-ranked Tripper Carleton of Florida in straight-sets to lead MSU to a major road victory against the No. 11 Gators... Compiled an impressive season of doubles play with teammate Louis Cant, including a 9-7 victory against the No. 60 doubles squad of Alex Domijan and Steven Rooda of Virginia... Would finish the season ranked 88th in singles nationally and 51st nationally in doubles.   FRESHMAN (2010-11):   Ranked as high as 89th in singles and 33rd in doubles... Compiled a 25-6 record in singles and 16-12 mark in doubles during a very impressive freshman campaign... A major contributor in the Bulldogs' 2011 SEC Western Division title and program's 20th NCAA Championship appearance... Earned SEC Freshman of the Week four times during the spring campaign, the most by any player in Bulldog history... Was named the 2011 SEC Freshman of the Year along with the 2011 ITA Southern Region Rookie of the Year... Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and an ITA Scholar Athlete.   FALL - As a much anticipated newcomer led MSU in singles wins with five and posted three doubles victories...Opened his MSU career at the Southern Intercollegiate Championship with a straight-set victory... Finished one win shy of qualifying for the main draw at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., the first of three collegiate tennis championship events... Opened the tournament with an impressive straight-set win over the 71st-ranked player in the country... In doubles alongside teammate Louis Cant, picked up a first round victory in the qualifying draw at the ITA All-American Championships... Advanced to the round of 16 in singles and doubles at the ITA Southern Regional Championships while picking up a pair of victories in both.   SPRING - Opened the spring season with four-straight victories, earning himself SEC Freshman of the Week honors on Feb. 1... Helped MSU achieve back-to-back 7-0 victories to begin its home schedule... Was the match-clinching point for the Maroon and White on the road against TCU with a come-from-behind straight-set victory... Eventually went on to win the SEC Freshman of the Week award three more times making him the first Bulldog to not only win a conference weekly honor four times in a season but the first ever Bulldog to win such an award four times in a career... Helped MSU achieve a 4-1 start to its conference schedule... Clinched another victory for the Maroon and White on the road at Arkansas... Due to impressive doubles play with teammate Louis Cant which included a victory over Texas A&M's 32nd-ranked duo earned a 46th national ranking on Feb. 14.... Stropp and Cant defeated Vanderbilt's 49th-ranked duo... Ousted 56th ranked Matte Fago of Tennessee where he was the match clinching point in a 6-1 triumph over the Vols... Finished the year ranked 33rd alongside fellow senior Louis Cant... Was tabbed SEC's Freshman of the Year, SEC-All Freshman Team, SEC Academic Honor Roll as well as an ITA Scholar Athlete. Also named the ITA's Southern Region Rookie of the Year.   PRE-MSU:   Attended the Albert Einstein Gymnasium in Uaarst, Germany... Stands 96th among the German men's players... Made a semifinal appearance in a Futures tournament in Roemerberg Germany in singles, bringing his ATP ranking to 1,018...
