Defeated Lindsay Deason of Florida State to win the "Flight B" consolation round of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic... Won her opening match of the fall in a 6-3, 6-3, decision... Held a three-match win streak, another career best... Had an overall doubles record of 4-6... Partnered mostly with Brittany Serret... The duo held a 4-3 record... Finished the fall with a 0-9 singles record... Paired with Magdi Rekasi in doubles action, recording a 3-8 record... The tandem defeated Georgia Tech's Maria Nieto and Lyndsey Shosho in a 9-8(3) tiebreaker at the St. Mary's Fall Classic... Advanced to the fourth round of "Flight B West" doubles bracket with a victory over Arkansas's Anna Dybicz and Illiana Pacheco at the SEC Fall Classic... Played the majority of dual action singles on court three with a 2-7 record... Defeated Matilida Taborda of Louisiana-Monroe in her opening match of the spring schedule in a 6-3, 7-5, decision on court two... Recorded her two SEC victories against LSU and Arkansas... Marcelle Hirt was born January 29, 1980... The daughter of Roberto and Olenca Hirt... Majoring in fitness management... Participated in swimming, volleyball and synchronized swimming in high school... Finished in third-place at the Brazilian Championships for synchronized swimming.
