Jesse Carl is entering his Junior year with the Bobcat Tennis Program. In 2003 Jesse had a 500 win loss ratio, winning some big matches for the team at the number 5 spot. This season Carl has returned from a summer of tournaments a much more experienced player who will certainly make a huge impact for the team in singles and doubles. Carl transferred to Montana State from the No. 1 junior college in southern California, College of the Desert. In high school he was very competitive in the Midwest section. According to head coach Mike Phillips, Carl is a great competitor: he is a great thinker on the court and knows how to find a way to win.
